Yugioh: Tough one! "CARD OF SANCTITY"== question about drawing two cards?

Here is the text of this spell card: "Remove all cards from your hand and side of the field from play. Draw cards until you have 2 cards in your hand." Now... if I draw a quick-play spell (Poison of Old Man) can I play that right away, and not count it toward the 2 cards?? Someone told me yes, but NOT if I draw a normal spell card. If that's true, if I draw a trap card, why can't I set it, and not count it toward the two cards?? I'm trying to see if I can make Sanctity allow me to play/set some good burn cards, or am I pretty much going to accept that I'll only draw 2 cards, maybe 3 if I'm lucky?
