Help! Bedroom door locked!?

if you have to ask picking the lock may take several days.lol it is a learned art. don't damage anything by bashing the door till it opens. the little additional "finger" on the bolt is to keep you from using a credit card or putty knife to open it and it will be inaccessible if the door was installed to open in the correct way, into the room. |Hopefully the door and trim is not painted. try sliding a er knife between the stop trim and the door jamb directly where the bolt is. you will need to pull the door tightly closed while doing this until the knife pes. if this doesn't work :remove the stop trim on the latch side of the door. now you can see the bolt. pull the door till the small finger falls into the strike plate hole and now when you slide a knife between the bolt and the strike plate it will release
