What is the normal range for TSH levels?
I had a blood test done and my TSH levels came back at a 4.88. My GP said that this means my thyorid is just outside the normal range and is slightly underactive. What is the normal range for TSH levels? Also, he wrote me a script for Synthoid 50 mcg. Is it really necessary that I take it?
