Meyer parrot has "flakey" crusty beak? Pics included? and does the bird look of ok health?

The bird looks good.Think everything is new give it time.Just show it love talk to it .I would try taking it out of the cage holding it playing it..The thing you want to do is get its trust. Good luck/
