I live in north florida, zone 9. what is the best banana tree for foliage, or is the best banana no banana?

There are many different varieties and kinds of banana plants. The Abyssinian banana (Ensete ventricosum) is great and has either green or green with red leaves. The Japanese hardy banana (Musa basjoo) is extremely cold-hardy and will survive well below freezing. The 'Orinoco' and 'Ice Cream' banana varieties grow nicely and produce delicious fruit.
