How can I record music in my home?

You can go somewhere like Target or Walmart and get recording software for your computer which has various EQ settings and affects you can use. To do this you also need a microphone because it records directly onto your computer. What you have to watch out for however is the microphone you buy because if you get a cheap fifteen dollar one or so it will have bad quality anyway.
